Maximum Designs started life as a one-man-band that quickly grew into a reputable company for web and graphic design in and around Gloucestershire.

Since 2001 we have been creating professional websites for large and small companies alike, expanding our repertoire into all aspects of web and print design.

We regard ourselves as a modern web company, and if we can't do it or don't know about it then we'll certainly get it figured out and get back to you!

Our latest company profile is available to download here and for those interested there are a few more details on the team that make up Maximum Designs below.

meet the team

Jon - head honcho

Hmmm... where to start... well I'm not going to bore you with my life story so don't worry! I've worked in marketing and graphic design on both Mac's and PC's since the mid 90's and recall when the internet really started to take off.

My first ever website was one for my own car at the time (MR2 Turbo) and that was it, I was hooked on web design. Aside from the business my other main hobby is dancing the Lindy Hop. We're fortuante enough to have some fantastic local teachers, previous UK Champions no less, and with their help we've become quite good!

favourite music : metallica / linkin park / tiesto
favourite film : it's a wonderful life
favourite things to do : dancing (lindy hop) / driving
things i can't live without : cars / internet
dream car : porsche 911 turbo

James - colouring in

After finding out at university that Fine Art was all about telling people why what you've done is "Art" rather than making something visually appealing, I started to teach myself graphic and web design instead. Since then I've found a mug willing to employ me, and I'm still here!

My main passions are for T-Shirt design and illustration, classic cars (like my 1966 Beetle), and my cat Mischief. Oh and I should probably mention my wife, or I'll only get in trouble later...

favourite music : lamb / 65daysofstatic / streetlight manifesto
favourite film : high fidelity / garden state
favourite things to do : as little as possible
things i can't live without : biscuits / pastries
dream car : 1950's classic chevy pickup

Dan - code monkey

While studying Maths under the guise of Computer Science at Cardiff University, I discovered that coding was my thing. After graduation, I decided to pursue a career in software engineering and when the opportunity popped up to become a web developer I snapped it up.

Outside of work I’m always interested in picking up new skills, and when not playing my guitars or spending the odd moment gaming online, game development is my next challenge, as if there wasn't enough on the go already!

favourite music : in flames / joe satriani / iron maiden
favourite film : kung pow / pulp fiction
favourite things to do : playing guitar and gaming
things i can't live without : music
dream car : mazda rx-7 1998+

Roxy - office pooch

Not your usual office member but Roxy is an integral part of the team, providing much needed respite from our usual busy working day. Being a Bull Terrier she is very much at home spending most of her day sleeping in her very own armchair, or often just keeping an eye on us to ensure we're all working hard!

Roxy is, however, our office mascot as she's been with us since the very beginning so perhaps she can take some of the credit for the success of Maximum Designs?!

favourite music : snoop dogg

favourite things to do : eat and sleep
things i can't live without : my beds
